Llamas are territorial animals. In the wild, when some male llama tries to intrude into the territory of another male, the resident of the territory may spit at the intruder. As a rule, such conflicts are settled with splitting, however fighting between males sometimes occurs. Pets for sale kept on the farms are not used for hunting.
